Summary

The emphasis of everything we do at Lincoln Script Lab is on you and your work. In this course we will cover the building blocks of drama – from dramatic structure to dialogue, character to the art of rewriting – as we develop your ideas through to script.

Each participant will develop an original short script across the course, receiving feedback and support from me and your fellow Labees throughout. Come the end of the 10 weeks, I want you to have a fully developed script of which you're proud.

Session Structure

Each session will begin with an informal presentation of the topic and its key themes and components, followed by a group discussion/workshop relating to your particular projects. We will also screen a relevant short film each session.

In order to give you sufficient time to write, two writing weeks are built into the schedule, as well as two group writing/problem-solving sessions with me, in which I’ll be on hand to support your writing and discuss specific problems.

This class would be suitable for a variety of ability and experience levels. If you’re unsure or want more details please just drop us an email.
